Knowing about the Fingernail Fungus
Most of the portions of the nail are senseless and dead but still nails have a great importance in the human body. Nails not protect the skin but also considered to be the important parts in the cosmetology. It has been observed that women take extra care for their nails and spend thousands of dollars just to polish them and to give them the shape. But have you even thought if these nails get infected, then what will happen?
If the nail fungus infection persist in the nails of the human then the stylish and long nails will become the ugly. If a nail is in healthy state then it will be transparent and will be pinkish in color because of high blood supply.
As the nail is infected by the fungus, it will first digest the substance called the keratin. This substance helps in protection from the nail from getting damaged. Keratin is just like the coating and hence it is very much important for the structure and shape of the nail.
The main causes of the fingernail fungus can be the poor hygiene like the wet surroundings or the moist nails, wounds and cuts.
